Connector Path to be closed next week for repairs

The Tri-Cities Connector Path will be closed for repairs, beginning Monday. It is expected to remain closed the entire week while abutments are shored-up at both ends of Rix Robinson Park Bridge; ramping is improved at Memorial Bridge, the drawbridge and M-104 Bridge to meet ADA requirements, and removal of an area that has settled just east of the M-104 Bridge; and restoration with a new asphalt surface.

Pedestrians and bicyclists between Ferrysburg, Grand Haven and Spring Lake are asked to use alternative routes or call Harbor Transit at 842-3200 during this time for the trip across the river. The buses have new bike racks.
