Fly-fishing expert to make presentation at SLDL

Nationally known fly-fishing instructor Glen Blackwood will be demonstrating how to tie early-season trout flies at Spring Lake District Library from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, May 19. Blackwood will supply hooks and other fly-tying materials, and invites fishing enthusiasts to bring their gear and tie along during this free presentation. Blackwood is the host of the public TV program "Fly Fishing with Glen Blackwood' and owner of the Great Lakes Fly Fishing Co. in Rockford.
