Delay: Huizenga will start town hall call at about 2:30 p.m.

U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, who this week is touring several areas of conflict in the Middle East, was to call constituents from overseas during a telephone town hall at 2 p.m. today to discuss where he has been traveling and what he's learned so far on the ground.

Due to an unexpected travel delay, the congressman's office said the call will begin at about 2:30 p.m.
“I committed to the 2nd District that, because it’s an act of Congress to send our troops overseas, that I would learn firsthand how previous actions by Congress affect U.S. servicemen and women,” said Huizenga, R-Zeeland.
Huizenga said he has been able to visit with troops from Michigan on his travels.
For security reasons, he is not allowed to reveal specifics of where he has been until he has left the country.
