Combined choirs to present Hymn Festival on Sunday

The combined choirs of Harderwyk Christian Reformed Church and St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church will present a Hymn Festival at 4 p.m. Sunday. It will be held at St. Francis de Sales, 171 W. 13th St. in Holland. "Hymns of Hope and Harmony: Celebrating the Song of the People of God' will feature the combined choirs, which number more that 50 singers. The choirs will invite the attendees to sing new hymns to old familiar tunes.

Kelly Dobbs-Mickus will be the organist for the event. The event coordinator, Robert Batastini, will narrate. A brass quartet and timpani will also accompany the choirs.

All are welcome, and there will be no admission charge and no offering will be taken.
