Local author to read from her new book at library

Local author Lydia Meyer will read aloud from her newly published book, "Lillie's Redemption,' at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 2, in Loutit District Library's Program Room A. "Lillie's Redemption' is a tale about a small town's struggle from trauma within the church, and how they find help in talking about it and working together. Meyer will also answer questions and share the writing journey with stages of the novel to show. Meyer will have books available to purchase and sign following her program.
