North Sea Gas will perform at SL District Library

Spring Lake District Library will be hosting a free musical performance by North Sea Gas, one of Scotland's most popular folk bands, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1.

North Sea Gas will be performing in Spring Lake as part of their North American tour. Known for their award-winning vocals and three-part harmonies, band members Ronnie MacDonald, Grant Simpson and Dave Gilfillan have 14 albums to their credit. The band’s eclectic career includes performances in a variety of venues — including national theaters, oil rigs, folk clubs and open-air concerts around the world.

Harbor House Inn in Grand Haven is co-sponsoring the presentation at the library, 123 E. Exchange St.
