The festival will also include a show of classic and antique cars along the village’s boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration forms can be picked up at the Lamont post office or call Jim at 616-677-5502.
Grand Lady boat rides on the Grand River will begin at 10 a.m. and continue on the hour through the afternoon. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12, and free for kids age 5 and under.
The festival — organized by the Lamont Civic Association — will also include arts and crafts, and the Lamont Christian School’s chicken barbecue beginning at 11 a.m. The Master Arts Theatre of Grand Rapids will put on 45-minute high-energy performances of folk tales, fables and Dr. Seuss stories behind the church, beginning at 1 p.m.
