Sunday Art Market at Chinook Pier opens June 5

The second season of the Sunday Art Market, a juried weekly show of established and emerging artists from West Michigan, opens June 5. The market will be under the green canopy next to Chinook Pier, at Harbor and First streets, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Sunday through Sept. 11. Displays will include fine art and high-end crafts such as pottery, metal works, photography, jewelry and textiles. There is a nominal fee for participating. Artists should call the local Chamber of Commerce at 842-4910 or e-mail artistsms-sundayartmarket @yahoo.com to request an application.
