Bridge To Life Ministries to host open house Sunday at its new SLT facility

Bridge To Life Ministries is holding a "Floors To Walls' open house at its newly purchased building in Spring Lake Township from 12:30-3 p.m. Sunday. The open house is a fundraiser for the building's interior build-out phase, and is open to the public. The building, which was purchased without indebtedness in December 2010, is located at 17194 Van Wagoner Road.

The new facility will allow for expanded seminar space, additional counseling rooms, office workspace and expanded parking, Bridge To Life Ministries officials said. It will also allow the ministry to more readily expand into other areas of West Michigan.

BTL officials say they have nearly doubled the number of people that have been helped by their marriage programs over the past three years. The average number of people served has risen from 67 in a given week to 115 per week.

This continued growth has caused the ministry to outgrow its current building on Ruddiman Drive in North Muskegon and help facilitate the purchase of a larger facility in Spring Lake Township.
