Volunteers sought for weed-pulling at Rosy Mound on June 28, July 6

Ottawa County Parks is looking for volunteers to assist parks staff with spotted knapweed control at the Rosy Mound Natural Area in Grand Haven Township. Workdays are scheduled from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 and Wednesday, July 6. Spotted knapweed is an aggressive, invasive plant that is displacing the native vegetation in the fragile dunes. Volunteers will pull knapweed near the parking lot.
