Free ‘Wimpy Kid’ movie screening Friday at SLDL

Kick off the holiday weekend with a free family movie at Spring Lake District Library at 2 p.m. Friday. The library will show the comedy "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules,' which is rated PG and is 100 minutes long. Boys and girls of all ages are welcome to attend. Children age 7 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call the library at 846-5770, ext. 134. The library is located at 123 E. Exchange St. in Spring Lake.
