Cotner features whimsy and fun in her oil paintings; Foley’s watercolors begin with the spontaneity of liquid motion observed on the shores of Lake Michigan; Gentle suggests the connection between people, the Earth and the universe; Goote has more than 30 years of experience in everyday concrete installations and has combined this knowledge with his artistic vision to create mosaics, mirrors, benches and peace signs; Casemier Johnson’s pieces reflect the seasonal changes of familiar waterfronts, nature and manmade objects; and DelVecchio’s current work is influenced greatly by a recent trip to China.

The Gallery Uptown is located at 201 Washington Ave. in downtown Grand Haven. Gallery hours for July are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
