When Kathryn Jaeger takes the stage as Little Red, her father George, will be singing with her as the King and Big Bad Wolf. Two other Jaeger kids are in the cast, Carl as Oswald, and Sophia in the chorus. Nine-year-old Skylar Coon is in the chorus and her twin Kyle, plays Wise Prince Jason. Their big sister Haylee is working backstage. Fairy Godmother, played by Ashley Klaassen has a younger sister Hanna, who is also in the chorus. Ema Strauss, who plays a narrator, will be sharing the stage with her sister, Grace, who plays Emma, a Lady-in-Waiting. Spencer Thompson, who plays Loud Prince Frank, is joined by his brother Carter, as Mr. Hood.
Performances will be in CPP’s new home at Lakeshore Middle School, 900 Cutler St. in Grand Haven, on July 14, 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. There will be one matinee performance at 3 p.m. on July 16.

CPP’s Family Theatre program has cast siblings before, “but never this many in one show,” said program director and choreographer, Shaylynn Chalupa. “We are thrilled that 'Doo Wop Wed Widiing Hood' will be the first big production in our new space at Lakeshore Middle School.”
Director Shannon Donley said she was pleased to see the parents come for the set building session.
“We really put family back into Family Theatre” said Donley. “I brought in my two sons to help paint the sets.”
“Doo Wop Wed Widing Hood” has 1950s rock n’ roll music mixed with a comic take on the typical characters from a fairy tale.
The cast of 25 has a mix of young people ages 6-17 and two adults. Other cast members are: Makayla Schueler, Katie Parks, Abby Keessen, Katie Huizinga, Shelby Kwast, Lucas Roetter, Stephanie Hoover, Susan Giganti, Isabel Virtue, Mollie LaBeff, Gabby Rabon, Chasey Lake and Hannah Staal.
