Her body is scheduled to arrive in Grand Rapids on Wednesday. Burial is planned Thursday next to her husband, former President Gerald R. Ford, on the museum grounds.
Betty Ford will lie in repose at the museum on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, organizers of her funeral said. The public viewing will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday and end at 11 p.m., then start again at 7 a.m. Thursday and run through 10 a.m.
The funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at Grace Episcopal Church.
