Ottawa County Fair begins today

The Ottawa County Fair kicks off today with "Night of Destruction,' a grandstand event featuring Unique Motorsports, at 7 p.m. The 53rd annual fair features hundreds of free exhibits, flower shows, 4-H animal exhibits and more - with a carnival throughout the week - at 1286 Ottawa Beach Road on Holland's northside. Brent Alan, the fair's concession and vendor manager, said their goal is "affordable family fun.'
