A Lake Michigan ferry is shut down temporarily for an engine replacement. The high-speed Lake Express Ferry makes two to three trips daily between Milwaukee and Muskegon. In a news release, the company said the ferry has four engines producing a total of 12,000 horsepower, allowing it to reach a speed of 40 mph.
