“The opening of our new facility allows us to step up our programs and offer visitors year-round experiences with contemporary art and culture in a high-profile, accessible and versatile venue,” said Jill May, UICA’s director of development.

The new facility presents an array of contemporary art, new media, and experimental design and architecture projects. The facility features 8,500 square feet of gallery space, two theaters, a 1,000-square-foot youth studio, 2,000-square-foot ceramics studio and two lounges.
