The storefront is being donated by Pfaff Pharmacy and the T-shirts are sponsored by North Ottawa Community Hospital. Other sponsors include Grand Haven Plastics, Shape Corp., GHSP Contribution Committee, Shoreline Sport & Spine, and Meijer.
All proceeds from the sales will be split between Bluebird Cancer Retreats and the American Cancer Society.

The first “Grand Haven Area Public Schools Playing for a Purpose” event will be the Grand Haven vs. Jenison football game on Sept. 16. GHHS football players will be wearing purple jerseys with the name of a person affected by cancer and playing in that person’s honor. The game will follow a “survivor lap” at 6 p.m., and introduction of the players and the person they are playing for at 6:30 p.m.
