Antique outboard motor show at Mich. Martime Museum on Aug. 27

Old outboard boat motors will be in abundance in South Haven later this month. The Michigan Maritime Museum, in partnership with the Wolverine Chapter of the Antique Outboard Motor Club, is holding its annual Antique Outboard Motor Show, Swap Meet and Auction on Saturday, Aug. 27. Club members from across Michigan and Indiana will be displaying and talking about their antique and classic motors. Old iron will be seen and heard running and smoking in the test tank, as members show off their latest restorations.

Also on display will be the Michigan Maritime Museum’s growing collection of antique outboards.

The event is open to the public. It will be held on the Michigan Maritime Museum campus from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
