Financial workshop for girls offered at library

Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore and Loutit District Library are teaming up to offer "Got Money?' - an interactive workshop on saving, investing and becoming a young financial guru for girls in grades 3-12. The workshop will take place at the library, 407 Columbus Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday. It will include speakers and activities, with a snack and lunch provided. The program is funded by a grant from the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation. The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required. To register, call 842-5560, ext. 216.

I say 'very cool' also. Not only young women but also young men could benefit from financial planning!!!!!
