Ferrysburg council to vote on fall trash pickup date

The Ferrysburg City Council will consider an agreement for a residential trash pickup day when it meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 17290 Roosevelt Road. If approved and signed, Allied Waste will conduct the pickup on Sept. 17. Council will also consider approval of a memorandum of understanding regarding a settlement distribution from the North Ottawa Water System intake construction lawsuit.

Also on the agenda is the possibility of approving a bid to construct a salt barn, a work session on a draft of the peddler/solicitation ordinance and a request to lease space at City Hall for a day care center.
