The Grand Haven school district will welcome some new faces when the 2011-12 school year begins in a few weeks. The following individuals are new Grand Haven Area Public Schools teachers and staff:

Sara Wiles, school psychologist; Brett Hershey, Grand Haven High School English teacher; Jenanne Voss, GHHS world language; Nathan Tap, White Pines Middle School world language; Kristen Farleigh, GHHS emotionally impaired teacher; Kim Logsdon, Lakeshore Middle School emotionally impaired teacher; Emily Berry, Lakeshore, White Pines and GHHS schools social worker; Emily Hann, elementary school social worker; Brittany Bush, Robinson Elementary School first-grade teacher.

Am I reading this right? They specifically hired two people who are emotionally impaired? Either that or Grand Haven has a lot of screwed up kids.
