Hair studio’s cut-a-thon to raise funds for CWIT

A downtown Grand Haven hair salon will host an eight-hour cut-a-thon on Saturday to raise money for the Center for Women in Transition. Donaylle Nicole Hair Studio, 117 Washington Ave., will forward 100 percent of the proceeds from the cut-a-thon to the nonprofit CWIT. Haircuts will be available for $20 and a chair massage can be enjoyed for $1 per minute; in addition to face-painting, mini-manicures, hair feathers and more. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. during the annual Sidewalk Sales in downtown Grand Haven.
