The dress code for this event is “whatever floats your boat,” organizers say — military uniforms, “South Pacific” and Hawaiian shirts, or 1940s vintage chic. Ladies are asked to wear flat shoes as no heels are allowed on deck.
The setting for the September fundraiser will help pay tribute to the veterans — called the “Greatest Generation” — and to support The Little Red House Adult Day Care Services, a Spring Lake organization that provides nurturing care to these aging heroes.
Tickets to this event are $150 per person or $75 for dancing only at 9 p.m. Tables of eight are also available to sponsor for $2,500. Raffle tickets are being sold for $50 each for a $2,000 cash prize.
