Guided Lake Forest Cemetery walk set for Sept. 9

Although a headstone tells the birth and the death of an individual buried in the cemetery, there is more. Jane Ladley will be the tour guide at Lake Forest Cemetery in Grand Haven at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9. Ladley fills in where the headstone leaves off, sharing the stories of Grand Haven residents who were the backbone of the community.

Advance registration is not necessary. The walk will begin in front of the cemetery office. Because the terrain in the cemetery is hilly is some areas, it is best that those planning to attend have no physical limitations.
