Tickets for ‘Les Mis’ at DeVos Hall go sale Sept. 11

The 25th anniversary production of the world's longest-running musical, "Les Misérables,' will be staged at DeVos Performance Hall in downtown Grand Rapids, Nov. 29 to Dec. 4. Tickets for the eight-show run go on sale beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11. Ticket prices start at $34.50. Tickets will be available at the DeVos Performance Hall box office, all Ticketmaster locations, www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

Part of the motive for the long life of The Sound of Music is the fact that its songs have become part of typical culture. "My Favorite Things" is often sung about the holiday season, and several musicians have completed their own renditions of this cheery tune.
