Famous Pumpkin Train departs Sept. 24

The Coopersville & Marne Railway's Famous Pumpkin Train is celebrating its 22nd year. The 250-seat vintage passenger train is decorated for the fall harvest. It will run every Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 24 through Oct. 30. This is a family-friendly, non-scary fall event. Farms and fields, in their colorful splendor, pass by as The Great Pumpkin, Scarecrow and Little Crow entertain the passengers. Songs and jokes abound over the clickity-clack of the rails during the 90-minute round-trip. All cars are heated and each has a restroom onboard.
