Classical guitarist to perform at SL District Library

Autumn arrives officially on Sept. 23 and brings with it the return of Music by the Fireplace at Spring Lake District Library. Free musical performances will be featured one Sunday afternoon a month during the school year. Audiences will be treated to a variety of music, from bagpipes and wind ensembles to jazz and bluegrass. Classical guitarist Jeff Dwarshuis will be performing at the library from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25.

Dwarshuis is known for his extensive knowledge of classical guitar works. He will perform a variety of music from Spanish classics to the modern-day masters. Dwarshuis has trained with Paul Vondiziano; and has an extensive repertoire in Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and modern music.
