Hands In Service is an international, nonprofit organization founded in 2003. Its mission is to provide relief services and support for groups and individuals with financial and/or physical needs resulting from poverty, health challenges or disaster. Teams of 15-20 volunteers work with local people during the project and remain with the project until completed. Then teams move on to new horizons.
Currently, H.I.S. is partnering with a small church in Comayagua, Honduras, to build a school/nutrition center to serve the church’s poverty-stricken community. Children in this area many times have to choose between food and school; they cannot afford to do both.
Funds raised from the dinner-theater evening will support this project.
Tickets are $30 per person, or $15 per person for the play only.
