Free public sudden cardiac arrest seminar Sept. 27

Spectrum Health will host a free community seminar about sudden cardiac arrest on Tuesday. It will take place at the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, 1000 E. Beltline N.E. in Grand Rapids from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Spectrum Health has hosted similar programs for high school staff and coaches, but this is the first program open to the general public. The program features a lecture and panel discussion, CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) demonstrations, refreshments and giveaways, and free admission to Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.
