High wind advisory

A wind advisory is in effect from 6 tonight until 2 p.m. Friday for the Lakeshore counties of Ottawa, Allegan, Mason, Muskegon, Oceana and Van Buren. The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids said scattered power outages, and downed tree limbs and power lines may result from high winds later today. Driving in the high winds later today will become difficult, particularly with higher profile vehicles.
