SLDL to host flu/pneumonia vaccine clinic Oct. 14

Spring Lake District Library will be hosting a seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccine clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 14. Vaccines for seasonal flu and pneumonia will be administered by registered nurses. The services will be provided by North Ottawa Community Health Systems. No appointment is necessary.

The cost for the injectable flu vaccine is $36 and the cost for the pneumonia vaccine is $80. Those with Medicare Part B and Medicare HMO Part B insurance should bring their card and the vaccines will be billed to Medicare. Those who do not have Medicare Part B or a Medicare HMO will need to pay with cash or personal check at the time of the service.
