First Place: Jennifer Leah Jones of Grand Haven for “Grand Haven Architecture Series” at Tri-Cities Historical Museum
Second Place: Krystal Gardner of Muskegon for “Sharpie Girl” at Odd Side Ales
Along with public voting, a group of professional artists, DDA members and the ArtWalk chairperson also voted and will award $500 each to the following winners of the "juried competition":
Bob Gulley of Manhattan, NY, for his sculpture "Quietly Making Waves" displayed at The Grand and Charlie Rhodes of Grand Rapids for his painting "El Matador" displayed at Tri-Cities Historical Museum.
Grand Haven ArtWalk is also extending a "purchased piece award" to Chip VanderWier of Muskegon for his sculpture "Wind Indicator with Red Fan" displayed at the waterfront behind the Chamber of Commerce building. ArtWalk will acquire the sculpture and plans to dedicate it to the city of Grand Haven at a future date.
