Program on pins and brooches at museum Oct. 24

"Read My Pins' is the name of a book by former Secretary of State Madeline Albright. Albright is known for always wearing pins and many of those she has acquired during her political career.

Spring Lake resident Ruth Anne Lomas is also an avid collector of jewelry — especially pins and brooches. She will be the featured speaker at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum’s Brown Bag Luncheon Series at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at the museum’s Akeley location, 200 Washington Ave. in downtown Grand Haven. Those planning on attending are encouraged to bring their lunch.
