Create your own gourd at museum

Barb Carlson of Spring Lake will be teaching a class on designing your own unique gourd at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum, 200 Washington Ave.

The cost of the class is $35; it includes a gourd and a variety of natural materials and embellishments to be used to create your design. Participants are invited to bring their lunch or a snack for the three-hour session.
