The library will be hosting a movie poster contest for teens. Ages 10 and up can create a movie poster from their favorite fiction book or graphic novel. The posters need to be at least 8.5-by-11 inches and can be hand-drawn or computer-generated.
Entries will be separated into two age divisions: 10-14 and 15-18. Each participant will receive a coupon for a free DVD rental. Posters can be turned through Oct. 22.
The entries that receive the most votes from Oct. 24–30 will win the contest. Winners will be announced Nov. 1 and will receive a $30 gift certificate to Subway.
