Freeze warning until 10 a.m.

The National Weather Service has a freeze warning in effect from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. today for Ottawa, Mason, Oceana, Muskegon, Allegan and Van Buren counties.

The frost advisory is no longer in effect.

Temperatures will fall below freezing overnight, and are expected to be below freezing from around 2 a.m. until 9 a.m.  saturday.

Plants may be damaged by the freeze.

A freeze warning is issued when freezing temperatures are forecast to threaten outdoor plants. those with agricultural interests in the warned area are advised to harvest or protect tender vegetation. Also, potted plants normally left outdoors should be covered or brought inside away from the cold.
