Myrick and Peacock performed together in the first event of the “Pin Drop Concert” series in March, but had not yet formed the official duo. Now they return in release of their first joint effort with a new 10-song CD named after the group.
The duo, out of Nashville, is on a Midwest tour. They have named the performance in Spring Lake as their official Michigan CD release concert.
Tickets are $28 for general admission.
On Saturday, Oct. 29, the Austin, Texas-based artists Jess Klein and Tom Freund will take the Seven Steps Up stage for another of Run Amok Promotions’ “Pin Drop Concerts.” Tickets are $23 for general admission.
“Pin Drop Concerts” feature nationally acclaimed acoustic music acts in a listening room environment for serious music fans. The concert hall seats only 110, creating an intimate connection between artist and audience. The furthest seat from stage front is only 35 feet away.
“I think people are surprised at the level of musicians that want to play here,” said Gary Hanks, co-owner of the venue. “... It’s the type of environment that makes them remember why they always loved to play music.”
