The truck will be filled with 10,000 pounds of groceries, and will be distributed to anyone in the community who is in need. This is estimated to be enough food for 200 people.

That same evening, the church will be hosting a free Thanksgiving meal and distributing personal care items like shampoo, toothpaste and tissue. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for registration and the meal, with grocery distribution to follow. There will be activities for kids.

The truck will be hosted on the east side of the building, 15550 Cleveland St., and the church asks that nobody begins lining up until that afternoon. Boxes and carts do not save spots in line, and Spring Lake Wesleyan is not responsible for any items left unattended.
