The one-hour concert centered on a salute to rock music ranging from its 1950s roots to the pop of Lady Gaga. It began with the GOTAK group playing a couple of songs, including the Beatles’ “A Hard Days Night, and concluded with the concert and symphony orchestras combining for Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
“This is a fun time of the year for us,” orchestra director Melissa Meyers said.
