Pajamas, blankets, slippers sought for ‘Share a Little Warmth’

A pajama and blanket collection to benefit children in need will begin Nov. 12, with barrels being placed at several locations in Muskegon, Grand Haven and Spring Lake.

Slippers are also requested. All items must be new.

The items collected through the “Share a Little Warmth From the Heart” drive will be distributed prior to Christmas through Love INC of Muskegon, Love INC of the Tri-Cities, Spring Lake Wesleyan Church and Ecclesia Church, said organizer Ruth Seelye.

Donation barrels will be at the following locations from Nov. 13 to Dec. 17:

Ferrysburg

First Reformed Church, 301 Washington Ave.

Monetary donations can be sent and made out to Love INC of Muskegon County, c/o Gail Kraft, 2735 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. Checks should note on the memo line that the donation is for “Share a Little Warmth.
