Singers and instrumentalists from throughout West Michigan are invited to come and sing the choruses in George Frederich Handel’s famous oratorio or play in the orchestra.

Soloists will be on hand to sing the recitatives and arias. Members of the Muskegon High School Symphonic Orchestra will be playing alongside the orchestra’s many volunteers.

Admission is free and a free-will offering will be taken to help defray expenses.

The event will be conducted by Truman Forest, with John Mattson of Central UMC at the organ. The orchestra is being coordinated by Kathy Cron, director of Muskegon Public Schools’ string program.
