Red Cross to hold blood drives in area

The American Red Cross is holding seven blood drives in the Grand Haven area through the end of the year.

— 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Grand Haven Community Center, 421 Columbus Ave.
— 1-6:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, First Presbyterian Church, 508 Franklin Ave. in Grand Haven
— 1-6:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, Hope Reformed Church, 14932 Mercury Drive in Grand Haven Township
— noon to 5:45 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, First Baptist Church of Spring Lake, 118 E. Exchange St.
— 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, North Ottawa Community Hospital, 1309 Sheldon Road
— 2-7:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, Grand Haven Christian School, 1102 Grant St.
— 1-6:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, St. Patrick’s Family Center, 901 Columbus Ave. in Grand Haven

Individuals who are age 17 or older, meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on height), and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. Bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when you come to donate.
