Santa is going to be talking to boys and girls in the area from the Tri-Cities Kiwanis Club’s Santa House, which is located between Fifth Third Bank and Jumpin’ Java on Washington Avenue.
Area children not only get to meet Santa, they can have their photo taken with him and give him their wish list.
The Santa House will open on Wednesday, Dec. 7, and will stay open until Dec. 23. Hours are 6-8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday: Dec. 7-9, 14-16 and 21-23; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 10 and 17.
While the Kiwanis Club doesn’t charge families to visit Santa, the organization is asking for donations. Kiwanis Club member William Swano said donations will go to The Salvation Army for its various Christmas programs to help the needy.
The club has already made a $5,000 donation to The Salvation Army.
