NORA offers dance classes

Looking for a way to improve you child's coordination and introduce them to dance? The Northwest Ottawa Recreation Authority has dance classes for children ages 3 through the fifth grade.

The instructor is Ana Rendon.

Classes are offered on Wednesdays at the Central High School gym, with the next eight-week session beginning Dec. 14. Preschool Dance for ages 3-5 is 3:45-4:30 p.m., Basics in Ballet for grades K-2 is 4:30-5:30 p.m. and Hip-Hop Basics for grades 3-5 is 5:30-6:30 p.m.

The cost is $40 for residents and $55 for nonresidents. Financial assistance is available through the Chris Christiansen Scholarship Fund.

Registrations are being accepted at 1415 Beechtree St. in Grand Haven or call the NORA office at 850-5125 for more information.
