Riopelle is the development director for Smile Grand Haven. She joined the Bluebird board in 2010 and served as vice president this past year.

“Paige brings a wonderful energy and vision to the organization,” Bluebird Executive Director Renee Denslow said. “We have worked hard in the past three years to gain the support of our community — and, with that, we are now positioned to offer even more outlets for emotional support and personal development for adults with cancer.”

Dawn Stebbins, office manager of West Michigan Auto Body, has been elected the board’s vice president. She has served on the board of directors for three years and has volunteered at the retreats every year.

Wendy Swenson will continue serving as secretary. New board member David Garland, branch manager for Citizens Bank, will be taking on the role of treasurer.

Through the experience of weekend programs, Bluebird Cancer Retreats provides hope and respite for adults who have been diagnosed with cancer. Bluebird also offers monthly programs at its Spring Enrichment Center in Spring Lake.
