Area residents brave cold to attend Carol Sing

Approximately 75 people braved one of the coldest nights of the season so far to participate in the annual Christmas Carol Sing held Saturday evening at William Ferry Park, said City Manager Craig Bessinger.

Students from Lakeshore Christian Academy led the singing, and Ferrysburg firefighters kept a warm bonfire blazing.

Santa Claus also made an appearance to hear children’s wishes.

Hot chocolate was provided by Pine Street Cafe and donut holes were provided by Leppinks.
