The shop recently opened at 220 Washington Ave., which was formerly The Clothing Factory.

It All Makes Scents is stocked with holiday and everyday candles and gifts. Holiday store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.

A grand opening for the shop with be hosted by the local Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m. Friday. Free candles, ornaments and treats will be in store for visitors on that day.

The shop’s owner, Sue Geftos, promises more unique products in the shop as we move past the Christmas season.

“We will bring in lawn and garden items, more wall art, and lots of other treasures with the spring season,” she said. “I make sure that there is very little duplication of the items at my shop. If you buy it here, you won’t see it everywhere else!”

Geftos also owns a It All Makes Scents store in Wyandotte.
