Michael Le Roy would be the first president from outside the church. He is a Presbyterian and executive vice president at Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash.
A search committee at Calvin is recommending Le Roy as the next president. The panel said he would be an “ideal fit” and has a “deep passion for Reformed Christianity.”
