Village Council to consider sharing more services with neighbors

Village Council will discuss possible collaborations with its municipal neighbors at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Barber School, 102 W. Exchange St.

Because of state inventives, the shared services could earn the village up to $2,500 in state revenue sharing.

Although the village currently shares Central Park and fire protection services with Spring Lake Township, the state incentives are only valid on agreements made after Oct. 1, 2011.
